अभ्यर्थी के पास निम्न योग्यता होनी चाहिए:

- मोटरयान रखरखाव / तकनीकी ज्ञान
- स्वास्थ्य एवं स्वच्छता (मद्यपान तथा तम्बाकू के सेवन के दुष्प्रभाव, एड्स तथा अन्य यौन संचारित रोगों के संबंध में जागरूकता)
